Working primarily in printmaking, bookbinding, and tattoo, her work explores the quiet rhythms of life and the cycles of self-realization that shape both personal and collective experience. Through layered imagery and hand-bound formats, she honors stories of resilience, loss, and change. Shanlee has held residencies at Second State Press in Philadelphia, PA; the LH Project in Joseph, OR; Zootown Arts Community Center in Missoula, MT; and, now, at the Printmaking Education and Research Studio in Fargo, ND.
